Location: Long Island, NY
Product & End Use: Xorel Pixel Graphic & Sanctuary Graphic Wallcovering

“Designing for a cause is the most satisfying kind of work,” said interior designer Michael Tavano of his experience renovating a Long Island, NY Ronald McDonald House. Over two years 48 designers volunteered their time and talent transforming the house.

“Families staying in the house have said the rooms give them a sense of hope.“-Michael Tavano, Designer

Carnegie donated Xorel Pixel and Sanctuary Graphic for the second floor lounge and hallway. Tavano chose these patterns because the multi-color wallcoverings reminded him of candy. “I first saw them installed in Carnegie’s NYC showroom and that jump started the design concept and inspired the space’s name, The Jelly Lounge.”
