The 2015 Carnegie showroom at the Merchandise Mart is an inspiring full spectrum of color drawn from the essence of the Carnegie brand: our love and passion for the creative process. The heart of the showroom is in the inspiration cases featured in the main gallery; this display gives the visitors an intimate insight to Carnegie’s creative design process with modern craft, redefined geometry and organic textures.

Alchemy | Best of Neocon - Gold in Window Treatments This variegated wide width digitally printed sheer morphs with motion displaying a spectrum of colors that shimmer and change. Alchemy is inspired by iridescence found in a beetle’s wing, and just like their wings, a unique beauty metamorphoses with changing light conditions.

Havana | Interior Design’s HiP Award – Hospitality: Wallcoverings Recognized by the Interior Design’s HiP award was Xorel’s new pattern wallcovering solution Havana. This large scale, multi-colored, textural stripe pattern creates a harmonic balance between the classical and tropical like brush strokes on a canvas.

Cirque Couture | Metropolis Likes Winner The Metropolis Magazine editors acknowledged Carnegie’s Xorel Cirque as a design that is “unexpected and urgent—an idea that strikes us as beautiful, useful and brilliant”.

Cirque Couture Bag Winners

From the halls of the mart to the social media posts, the Cirque Weekender Xorel Bags were a huge hit! Carnegie's Final Touch collection has carved out a new place in the textile market where high performance and high fashion meet. Carnegie designed this unique handbag to show off the embroidery techniques and intriguing dimensionality of Cirque Couture. However, since the collection's launch they have only been available to select Carnegie clients. Luckily for a select group of Neocon visitors, they were able to take home one of these unique new bags!

Carnegie Around the Mart

The Carnegie Showroom was not the only place where our products were showcased. Carnegie's upholstery, wrapped panels, acoustic solutions, wallcovering and windows were spotted everywhere. Carnegie fabrics and Xorel were proudly displayed throughout the Mart, adapting to exciting spaces and uses by our partnering manufacturers.
