American Express teamed up with design firm Big Red Rooster to build a series of luxurious, curated airport lounge experiences. In the latest Centurion Lounge at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, iconic design furnishings and multisensory elements are pulled together in a modern, memorable environment. Designer Kathy Kline chose white Xorel Strie for both wallcovering and large tufted wall panels to achieve the chic, modern, and tastefully restrained aesthetic.

Kline also said that the sustainability of Xorel factored into her material selections for the growing number of American Express lounges. Xorel Strie is Cradle to Cradle Gold certified with 85% biobased content, which helped the San Francisco lounge achieve LEED accreditation.
